Under the stewardship of Jaidah Group’s Chief Financial Officer, the corporate finance division is tasked with financial planning and analysis, risk management, financial reporting, maintenance of financial information, treasury operations, credit control and collections. Financial management and oversight transcends all company divisions and departments ensuring continuous business performance review and communication, sound and objective decision making, prevention of financial irregularities, and protection of company assets. In addition to having a fiduciary oversight and reporting responsibility, the group’s CFO has the equally important responsibility to function as an independent strategic partner to the group’s COO and executive management team. Together they have the overall responsibility to shape the company’s short to long term strategic direction, with a primary goal of increasing shareholder wealth. With its obligation to communicate major business risks, and any issues that may lead to significant financial impact on the company’s overall financial position, corporate finance’s control and oversight system is an invaluable part of the long term success of Jaidah Group.
